Terms of Service

These words mean the same thing everywhere in this document, and on the other Skollar Quiz 2026 policy pages.

• The competition — the Skollar Quiz 2026, run at quiz.skollar.club.
• Format — one of the four separate competitions listed under About the Competition. Each has its own entry, its own ranking, and its own prize pool.
• Participant — the person who sits the quiz.
• Guardian — the parent or legal guardian of a participant who is under 18. Where the participant is under 18, the guardian is the person who enters into this agreement (see Eligibility & Age).
• You — the participant if they are 18 or over; the guardian if the participant is under 18.
• We, us, the organizers — the organizers of the Skollar Quiz 2026. Our contact details are under Contact Us.
• The platform — the website, the registration form, the practice area, the live quiz page, your dashboard, and the result and certificate pages.
• Registration fee — the amount paid to enter one format.
• Early Bird window — registrations completed by 2 September 2026, 11:59 PM IST and among the first 1,000 places per format, whichever limit is reached first. These receive the fee-back. (Registrations completed before the original early cutoff of 15 August 2026 also paid a lower launch fee; the fee has been the same in both windows since.) A format whose places fill before that date closes its Early Bird window early; the other formats are unaffected.
• Standard window — registrations completed during 3 September 2026 – 10 October 2026. These pay the same fee and receive no fee-back.
• Fee-back — the return of an Early Bird registration fee, at the same value, into your Kashflow account. It is not a card refund.
• Kashflow account — your billing account, used across Skollar, Kariant and the other products Kariant operates. One account, one balance.
• Koins / Sikka — the two labels for that one balance. In India the balance is shown in Sikka, where 1 Sikka is worth ₹1; everywhere else it is shown in Koins, where 1 Koin is worth $1.
• Kash — the part of your Kashflow balance that can be redeemed to a bank account.
• Result — your score, your per-category breakdown, and the time you took. Rank is your position within your own format, shown privately on your own result page.
• Certificate — the digital certificate issued to you on submission, carrying a unique ID that anyone you share it with can check.
• Strike — one recorded fair-play event on your live session. Disqualification is the ending of an attempt so that it is not scored, not ranked, and not eligible for a prize (see Automated Decisions).

By registering for, paying for, accessing, or taking part in any Skollar Quiz 2026 format, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Fee, Cancellation & Withdrawal Policy, and the Fair Play Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not register or participate. If the participant is under 18, it is the parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms and who is the contracting party — see Eligibility & Age below.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to you is the one in effect when you register for a given format, except where a later change is required by law or is clearly in your favour (see Changes to These Terms).

The Skollar Quiz 2026 is offered in four separate formats:

• Skollar Global Quiz 2026 — open worldwide, for undergraduate students to anyone up to age 30.
• Skollar Global Junior Quiz 2026 — open worldwide, for school students in Class 8–12.
• Skollar India Quiz 2026 — for participants in India, for undergraduate students to anyone up to age 30.
• Skollar India Junior Quiz 2026 — for participants in India, for school students in Class 8–12.

Each format is a separate competition with its own registration, rankings, and prize pool. Registering for one format does not enrol you in another.

The quiz itself consists of 100 multiple-choice questions to be answered within a 2-hour window, with one format per day across 11–14 October 2026, spanning 10 syllabus categories. The session is monitored for fair play. Every participant who completes the quiz receives a digital certificate issued instantly on submission, together with their score. Final ranks and cash prize winners are announced collectively on 15 October 2026, 12:00 PM IST, by email and on Instagram and LinkedIn. Cash prize money is credited into the winner's Kashflow account on 16 October 2026 (see Prizes & Taxes).

Timings, the schedule, and the question set may be adjusted for operational or technical reasons; we will communicate any material changes to registered participants by email.

The Skollar Quiz 2026 is a competition of skill and knowledge. Results are determined solely by a participant's general knowledge, reasoning, accuracy, and speed in answering the same syllabus-based questions — never by chance, a draw, or any random process.

• Winners and rankings are decided by merit: the score over 100 questions, with time taken used only to break ties.
• There is no element of chance, wager, betting, staking, or random allocation of prizes.
• The registration fee is a participation fee for entry to a skill-based contest and access to our practice tools — it is not a stake or bet, and prizes are awarded for performance, not for the outcome of any game of chance.

Applicable law treats games of skill differently from games of chance, and from gambling, betting, and lotteries; the Skollar Quiz 2026 is designed and operated as a game of skill. Because some jurisdictions restrict even skill-based prize competitions, it is your responsibility to ensure that taking part is lawful where you live. Where a paid skill contest with prizes is not permitted, you must not register, and we may restrict eligibility for that region (see Eligibility & Age).

To register, you must meet the eligibility criteria for the format you choose:

• Main formats (Skollar Global Quiz 2026 and Skollar India Quiz 2026): undergraduate students to anyone up to age 30 — the minimum eligibility is being at least an undergraduate student (there is no minimum age; school students in Class 8–12 have their own Junior formats), and the maximum is age 30 as of your quiz day.
• Junior formats (Skollar Global Junior Quiz 2026 and Skollar India Junior Quiz 2026): school students in Class 8–12 (or the local equivalent).
• India formats are open only to participants based in India — your registration country must be India (citizenship is not required); Global formats are open worldwide subject to local law.

Participants under 18. Where the participant is under 18, the parent or legal guardian is the contracting party. These Terms are entered into by the parent or guardian, the registration is made by them on the participant's behalf, and they are responsible for the entry fee. The participant sits the quiz; the agreement with us is the guardian's.

How that consent is given. On the details step of the registration form we ask for the parent or guardian's full name and email address — which must be different from the participant's own — and the parent or guardian must tick a box confirming that they have read and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy on the participant's behalf, and that they agree to the registration, to the entry fee being paid, and to the participant's personal information being used to run the competition. We record that confirmation — the name and email address given, the exact wording accepted, the format it was given for, and the date and time — and we keep it. A payment for a Junior format, or for any participant whose date of birth shows they are under 18, is refused until that record exists.

We do not separately check that the person giving consent is the participant's parent or guardian, and we do not contact that address to confirm it. If a registration was made for a minor without the guardian's knowledge, email quiz@skollar.club and we will cancel it.

We may request reasonable proof of age, grade, or location at any stage — including before disbursing a prize. If you do not meet the eligibility criteria for the format you entered, or you cannot verify your eligibility, we may decline your registration, withhold results, or withhold prizes, and refunds (if any) will be handled per the Fee, Cancellation & Withdrawal Policy.

You are responsible for the information you provide and for any activity under your registration. You agree to:

• provide true, current, and complete information when you register;
• keep your contact details up to date so we can reach you about results and prizes;
• keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with anyone; and
• notify us promptly at quiz@skollar.club if you suspect unauthorized use of your registration.

Each person may hold one registration per format. Creating duplicate or fraudulent registrations, or registering on behalf of someone who is not eligible, may result in disqualification without refund.

We rely on the accuracy of the information you give us — particularly for results, certificates, and prize disbursement. Errors caused by inaccurate information you provided are your responsibility.

Registration is per format and is confirmed only once payment is successfully received. Fees are charged in the currency tied to your format:

• Global formats: in USD, paid through PayPal.
• India formats: in rupees (₹), paid through Razorpay — UPI, cards, net banking, or wallets.

Payments are handled by these third-party processors. We do not store your full card details; we receive only limited payment metadata needed to confirm and reconcile your registration. Your use of a processor is also subject to that processor's own terms and privacy practices.

Registration windows and what happens to your fee. The last date to register is 10 October 2026 (across all formats). What happens to the fee depends on when you register:

• Early Bird (register by 2 September 2026, and among the first 1,000 places per format — whichever comes first): the fee you pay comes back to you as Koins in your Kashflow account, at the same value you paid, as soon as your payment is confirmed. This is set out in full in Your Fee-Back in Koins below.
• Standard (3 September 2026 – 10 October 2026, at the same fee): the fee pays for your seat and is not returned. Standard registrations do not include the fee-back.

Cancelling a registration. Cancelling releases your seat for that format. It does not send money back to your card, because the fee you paid is held in your Kashflow account as Koins instead. If you registered in the Early Bird window, your fee-back is already there and cancelling does not take it away. If you registered in the Standard window, we credit the fee you paid to your Kashflow account at the moment you cancel. In both cases the balance is spendable across Skollar and Kariant immediately, and can be sent to your bank once the competition concludes and bank withdrawals are open on Kariant. You can cancel at any time up to 10 October 2026, 11:59 PM IST, when registrations close. Once you have opened it, that entry has been used and the registration can no longer be cancelled, even if you do not finish. Cancelling also ends the lifetime Skollar Premium membership that came with the registration, unless another confirmed registration of yours still carries it; your Koins are unaffected.

Cash refunds are rare exceptions. Money is returned to your original payment method only in limited situations handled by our team — for example a duplicate charge, or if we cancel or reschedule your format. The conditions and the process are set out in the Fee, Cancellation & Withdrawal Policy, which governs those cases. Taxes or processor fees, where applicable, may be added to or deducted from amounts as required.

If you register in the Early Bird window — that is, by 2 September 2026, 11:59 PM IST and among the first 1,000 places per format, whichever limit is reached first — the fee you paid is credited back to you as Koins in your Kashflow account, at the same value you paid, as soon as your payment is confirmed. There is nothing to claim and no form to fill in. You can see the credit on your Kashflow account page.

Koins and Sikka are one balance. You hold a single Kashflow balance, displayed in your local unit: as Sikka if you are in India, and as Koins elsewhere. These are two labels for the same balance, not two separate accounts.

For Early Bird registrations the fee-back carries no conditions. You receive it whether or not you go on to compete, and whether or not you win a prize. It does not depend on your score, your rank, or on you attending on the day. Registrations made in the Standard window (3 September 2026 – 10 October 2026) do not receive a fee-back.

You keep it if you cancel. Cancelling your registration gives up your seat; it does not reverse or remove the Koins already credited to you. They stay in your Kashflow account.

Spending it. The balance is yours to spend across any Kariant domain straight away, at the value shown in your account.

Sending it to your bank. From 15 November 2026, 12:00 AM IST you may also ask us to send the balance to your bank account — and this is possible only once bank withdrawals are open on Kariant. Withdrawals are currently switched off across the platform, so that date is when the option becomes available, not a promise that a payment will be made on it. Requests are reviewed and approved by our team before any payment is sent, and how long the money then takes to reach you depends on your bank and the payment route used. Your Kashflow account page shows whether withdrawals are open. Until they are, the balance keeps its full spending power across Kariant.

Tax on what you withdraw is your responsibility. You are responsible for any tax due on amounts you withdraw to a bank, under the rules that apply where you live. Where we are required by law to deduct tax at source before paying you, we will do so, and the amount you receive will be net of that deduction. We do not give tax or financial advice; please speak to a qualified adviser if you are unsure.

The Skollar Quiz 2026 is a fair, merit-based competition. The session is monitored for fair play, and by participating you agree to the integrity measures described in our Fair Play Policy, which is part of this agreement.

During the quiz you must not:

• seek or accept help from any other person, device, website, AI tool, or reference material unless expressly permitted;
• share, copy, photograph, record, or distribute questions or answers;
• use multiple registrations, impersonation, or any technical means to gain an unfair advantage;
• attempt to access, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or tamper with the quiz platform, its monitoring, or its scoring; or
• disable or evade the monitoring or identity-verification steps we use.

We use automated checks, statistical analysis, and human review to detect irregularities. We do not use your camera or microphone, and we do not record your screen. Monitoring is limited to activity inside the quiz page itself — for example, leaving the quiz tab or exiting full screen. What we collect and how long we keep it is described in the Privacy Policy and Fair Play Policy.

Violations may lead to score adjustment, disqualification, forfeiture of prizes, and a ban from future events — see Disqualification below.

All content that makes up the competition — including questions, answer sets, the syllabus, the quiz platform, the "Skollar" and "Skollar Quiz 2026" names and logos, certificates, and the website design — is owned by or licensed to the organizers and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell, or create derivative works from this content except as expressly allowed.

You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the platform solely to take part in the competition. Your digital certificate is issued to you for personal and professional use (for example, on a résumé or profile) and must not be altered, forged, or misrepresented.

By submitting answers and other content, you grant us a licence to process them for scoring, results, integrity review, and operating the competition. We may publish the name and rank of a prize winner as part of announcing the results — exactly what we publish, and how to opt out, is set out under Announcing Winners: Name and Image below. How we handle your personal data more generally is covered in the Privacy Policy.

Each format has its own prize pool and rankings. Cash prize money is credited into the winner's Kashflow account on 16 October 2026, once results are finalised and winner verification is complete — if your verification is still open on that date, the credit follows as soon as it completes. You can spend that balance across Kariant straight away, and you can see it on your Kashflow account page.

From 15 November 2026, 12:00 AM IST you may also ask us to send prize money to your bank account, once bank withdrawals are open on Kariant. Requests are reviewed and approved by our team before any payment is sent, and how long the money then takes to reach you depends on your bank and the payment route used.

To receive a prize you must verify your identity and eligibility and provide accurate, complete payout details. Prizes are personal to the winner, are not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for an alternative except at our discretion (for example, if a method is unavailable in your country).

Tax on a prize is the winner's responsibility. You are responsible for any tax, duty or other charge due on a prize, and on any amount you withdraw to a bank, under the rules that apply where you live. Where we are required by law to deduct tax at source before paying you, we will do so, and the amount you receive will be net of that deduction. We do not give tax or financial advice; please speak to a qualified adviser if you are unsure.

We may delay or withhold a prize where there is a pending integrity review, an unresolved eligibility question, missing verification, or a legal or banking requirement. If you do not claim or complete the verification for a prize within a reasonable period after we contact you, the prize may be forfeited.

Announcing who won is part of running a prize competition. This section sets out exactly what we publish, and the choice that controls whether your name appears at all.

Publishing your name is opt-in. The consent notice you accept on this site includes a separate, optional publicity consent. If you gave it and you win a prize, we may publish your name as given at registration, the format you entered, your rank, and the prize you won. This appears in the results announcement on 15 October 2026, 12:00 PM IST, on quiz.skollar.club, in the email we send to registered participants, and on the competition's own social media channels. If you did not give it — or you switch it off later on My Consent — any winner announcement uses your masked display name only, and the prize is paid in full either way. If you send us a photograph or a quote for an announcement, we may publish those too — but only ones you have given us for that purpose. We will not take a photograph of you, and we do not use your certificate image for promotion without asking you first.

What we never publish. Your email address, phone number, date of birth, school or institution, exact address, payment details, and your answers. Your rank is private unless you win a prize — it is shown on your own result page and nowhere else. There is no public ranking list of all participants.

The permission, when you give it. The publicity consent — not these Terms — is what grants us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to use your name, your rank, and any photograph or quote you supply for that purpose, to announce and report the results of the Skollar Quiz 2026 and to keep those results published afterwards. This permission is limited to announcing and reporting the competition. It does not let us use your name to advertise an unrelated product, it does not imply that you endorse anything, and no separate payment is due for it. Withdrawing it works from that moment on — we stop new uses and take down what we control, as described below.

Opting out — a participant under 18. Where the participant is under 18, the guardian may tell us at any time that the participant's name must not be published. This is an unconditional opt-out: we will publish an initial and the format instead of the name, or leave the entry out of the published list entirely, whichever the guardian prefers. Opting out never affects the prize — the prize is paid in full either way. Send the request from our contact page, or email quiz@skollar.club.

Opting out — a participant 18 or over. Withdrawing is as easy as giving: switch the publicity consent off on My Consent, or ask us via the contact page. We honour it on the pages and channels we control. We may still need to record the winner internally, and to disclose the name where a bank, a payment provider, or the law requires it.

If you ask after we have already published. We will remove your name from the pages and posts we control within a reasonable time. We cannot recall a copy, screenshot, or repost that someone else has already made, and search engines may take time to drop an old copy from their results.

We may disqualify a participant, void a score, withhold or reclaim a prize, suspend access, or ban a participant from current and future events where, in our reasonable judgment, the participant has:

• breached these Terms or the Fair Play Policy;
• cheated, colluded, impersonated, or used prohibited assistance;
• provided false information about identity, age, grade, location, or payout details;
• created duplicate or fraudulent registrations; or
• attempted to manipulate, disrupt, or compromise the competition or its systems.

Where a disqualification affects standings, we may recalculate results and reassign prizes accordingly. Refunds following disqualification, if any, are governed by the Fee, Cancellation & Withdrawal Policy; in most cases of confirmed misconduct, fees are not refundable. We aim to act fairly and proportionately and will, where practical, give you a chance to respond before a final decision.

One exception, and it matters. The two-strike rule during a live paper is applied automatically, as it happens, with no person reviewing it first — so there is no chance to respond beforehand. You can have that decision reviewed by a person afterwards; see Automated Decisions & How to Get a Human to Look below.

One decision on this platform is taken automatically by software, with no person involved at the moment it happens. We are telling you this plainly because that decision has a financial effect on you, and because you have the right to ask a person to review it.

The decision. While your question paper is open, the quiz page records fair-play events — for example, leaving the quiz tab or exiting full screen. The first event gives you an on-screen warning. On the second, the system ends your attempt and marks it disqualified immediately. No one reviews it first; the two-strike rule is applied by the software as it happens, so that every participant is treated the same way in real time.

What it costs you. A disqualified attempt is not scored, receives no rank and no certificate, and is not eligible for any prize. Your registration fee is not returned — cancellation and refund treatment is set out in the Fee, Cancellation & Withdrawal Policy. Because a prize is money, this is a decision with a financial consequence, and it should not be the last word.

How to ask a person to review it. Send an appeal from our contact page — choose the topic "Appeal a disqualification" — or email quiz@skollar.club. Sign in first if you can, so your appeal carries a reference you can quote. Tell us your format, the day it happened, and what you believe went wrong. A member of our team then reads the record of your session — what was logged, and when — and can clear the marks and reinstate the attempt where the evidence supports you. We treat appeals as time-critical and, wherever it is still possible, we look at them during the exam window itself.

What reinstatement can and cannot do. Reinstating an attempt clears the disqualification so the attempt can be scored. It does not add time to your paper and does not issue a new question paper — the exam clock is set by the server when your paper is opened. If your format's window has already closed, we will tell you honestly what we can and cannot do.

Everything else involves a person. Refusing or cancelling a registration, withholding or reassigning a prize, banning someone from future events, deciding a refund, and acting on a request to delete your data are all reviewed by a member of our team before they take effect. Scoring itself is automatic — your answers are marked against the correct answers — but a scoring error can be raised the same way and is corrected by a person.

We would rather describe our security honestly than impressively. Here is what is genuinely true about how the competition is built.

• Card details never reach us. Payments are taken by regulated payment partners — PayPal for payments in US dollars, Razorpay for payments in rupees (₹). You enter your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking login on their checkout, on their systems. Those details are never sent to Skollar and we could not produce them if we were asked to. What we receive is confirmation that the payment succeeded, the amount, the currency, and a reference.
• Answer keys are never sent to your browser. The question paper delivered to the quiz page carries the questions and the options, and not the correct answers. Your submission sends only the options you chose; the marking happens on our servers against keys that stay there. There is nothing in the page to read the answers out of.
• Your rank is private to you. It is shown on your own result page. It is not on a public list, and another participant cannot look you up. The only exception is a prize winner, whose name and rank we publish as part of announcing the results — with the opt-out set out under Announcing Winners: Name and Image.
• Traffic is encrypted in transit between your device and the platform, and access to participant records is limited to the people who need it. Actions our team takes on a participant's record are written to an internal log.
• Your sign-in is yours. We will never ask you for your password or a one-time code — not by email, not on the phone, not in a support reply. Anyone who does is not us.

What we do not claim: no system is perfectly secure, we hold no security certification for this competition, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a security problem affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant authority where the law requires it — see the Privacy Policy. If you think you have found a security problem, please write to quiz@skollar.club before publishing it.

We work hard to run the competition reliably, but the platform and the competition are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, secure, or free of technical issues, or that results will be free of human or system error.

We are not responsible for circumstances outside our reasonable control that affect your participation — for example, your own internet connection, device, power supply, browser, or local restrictions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or relating to the competition and these Terms is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the format in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profit, opportunity, data, or goodwill.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including any non-excludable statutory rights you may have as a consumer under any applicable consumer-protection framework where it applies to you.

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These may include natural disasters, fire, flood, epidemic or pandemic, war, civil unrest, government action or regulation, strikes, failures of telecommunications or internet infrastructure, power outages, cyberattacks, or failures of third-party service providers (including payment processors and hosting providers).

If such an event prevents the competition from running as planned, we may reschedule, modify, suspend, or — as a last resort — cancel the affected format. Where this happens, any refunds will be handled in line with the Fee, Cancellation & Withdrawal Policy and applicable law, and we will communicate with registered participants by email.

We may update these Terms to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. When we make a material change we publish a new version number and effective date in the introduction above, update the "Last updated" stamp at the top of this page, and, where appropriate, notify registered participants by email. The current version is 2.0, effective 3 August 2026. If you want to know which version applied on the day you registered, ask us at quiz@skollar.club and we will tell you.

The version of these Terms in effect when you registered for a particular format governs that registration, except where a later change is required by law or is genuinely more favourable to you. Continuing to use the platform after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with a change, you should stop using the platform; any refund rights remain governed by the Fee, Cancellation & Withdrawal Policy.

How we handle your personal data — including the name, email, optional phone number, age or grade, country or region, payment metadata, quiz responses and scores, and basic device and usage data we collect — is described in the Privacy Policy.

We design our practices to align with applicable laws, statutes, rules, regulations, and binding directives governing data protection, information technology, electronic records, and consumer rights, as may be in force and amended from time to time. We say "align with" deliberately — we do not claim formal certification or that compliance is complete.

You can ask us for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. What is deleted, what is kept because the law requires it, and how long it all takes are described in the Privacy Policy. Where the participant is under 18, the guardian may make those requests on their behalf.

In keeping with applicable grievance-redressal requirements, you may raise complaints or data-related requests with our grievance contact. The quickest route is our contact page — sign in first and your request carries a reference you can quote, and you can follow it and read our replies afterwards. By email:

We aim to acknowledge and close a grievance within 24 hours on working days, and we will acknowledge and respond within any shorter timeline that applicable law requires. Where an outcome depends on a bank or a payment provider and will take longer, we tell you rather than let it go quiet.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Although the Skollar Quiz 2026 serves international participants, the competition is administered from India, and Indian law applies to this agreement.

Subject to applicable law, the competent courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the competition. This does not deprive you of any mandatory protection or forum available to you as a consumer under the laws of your own country, where such protection applies and cannot be waived.

Before starting any formal proceeding, we encourage you to contact us so we can try to resolve the matter amicably and promptly. Many issues can be settled by writing to quiz@skollar.club or to our grievance contact above.
