How referring works

Anyone with a Kariant account can refer. Your shareable link uses your verified public @handle. Claim a handle in the tools above if you do not yet have one, then share the link in a message, on social media or in person. Earlier valid referral links and attribution remain subject to their recorded terms; you do not need to expose a private account identifier to share a new link.

Email invitations are optional and manual: enter only the addresses of people you want to invite. Our fixed template carries your safe display name, verified account email when available, and referral link. It cannot carry custom content. A queued result is not proof that an email was delivered.

These are one-time invitations, not a mailing-list subscription. The same referrer cannot repeatedly invite the same recipient by email. Every invitation has an unsubscribe link, and opted-out recipients are suppressed without exposing their private preferences to you.

The email tool allows up to 10 unique addresses per request and 30 attempted invitations per UTC day, including failed attempts. An uncertain result is not automatically resent; check the result before making another attempt.

What you earn, and what counts

• Only a referred learner’s verified successful registration payment earns a reward: ₹50 in India or $1 elsewhere, in total, subject to eligibility. An unpaid signup, filled form or pending payment earns no new referral reward.
• No new ₹25 / $0.50 unpaid-signup reward is offered. A historical half reward already recorded is not minted again. It counts toward the ₹50 / $1 total; only the remaining eligible delta can be added, and only after that learner’s payment is verified successful. Spent or reversed amounts are not restored by a later payment.
• The limit is your first 10 distinct referred users, paid and unpaid combined. One person occupies one place, even if they register for more than one Quiz format. Their later payment does not occupy another place.
• The applicable amount follows your recorded account country, not the referred learner’s country or a browser display choice. If no country is recorded, the India rate applies until one is set; existing receipts retain their original amount and FX terms.

Eligible registration windows count under the applicable referral terms. A signup, registration form or payment-stage entry in the activity list is not a credit receipt, an eligibility decision or proof of settlement. Eligible referral rewards are credited as Koins to your Kashflow account after the learner’s payment is verified, which may not happen straight away. Check your Koins page for their status. A stage label does not mean a reward has been credited or an email sent.

Credit, cash eligibility and bank withdrawal

Referral rewards are credited as Koins to your Kashflow account, with Sikka used for the India display. Koins use USD accounting; 1 Sikka represents ₹1 as an INR display unit. A nominal ₹ or $ reward, a display conversion or the total Koins balance is not a promise that the whole balance can be paid to a bank at that value. The original credit amount, source, FX and any frozen cash terms remain authoritative.

All referral rewards, including historical referral credit and any later eligible delta, are locked until 17 November 2026, 00:00 IST (16 November 2026, 18:30 UTC). Before that instant, no spending, usage, redemption, transfer, cash conversion or bank withdrawal of those rewards is allowed anywhere on Skollar or Kariant. Crediting a reward does not unlock it early.

After the unlock time, eligible unreversed referral credit can be spent where the platform accepts it. Without your own verified successful Quiz registration payment by the applicable registration deadline, it remains spend-only and cannot be converted to Kash or withdrawn to a bank.

If your own registration payment is verified successful by that Quiz format’s registration deadline, the eligible remaining referral credit can be cash-eligible after the unlock time. This also applies to an eligible historical half reward; it does not offer a new reward for an unpaid signup. The relevant cutoff is your own format’s registration deadline, not a promotional offer’s end date. This cash-eligibility route never applies to rewards retained because Skollar or Kariant cancels Quiz 2026 as organizer: those rewards are permanently platform-use-only, even if your own payment was verified successful on time.

Paying for your own registration later, but still by that deadline, can upgrade the eligible remaining amount of an earlier original referral credit. It does not mint the reward again, restore amounts already spent or reversed, add a new referral place, recompute its original amount and FX terms, or make an organizer-retained reward cash-eligible.

Cash eligibility must be confirmed in the recorded credit and current conversion quote. A paid profile flag or referral activity status does not establish it. Only the eligible, available portion may be converted from Koins to Kash under the applicable recorded terms and current cash policy. Bank withdrawal is a separate step from Kash, subject to the current availability, checks, minimums, fees and processing terms shown for that request; Koins do not transfer directly to a bank.

Your own registration refund, cancellation credit and prize credit have their own source terms. Earlier rights and mandatory consumer protections are not reduced by this revision.

What the person you refer gets — and what stays private

A referral link costs the learner nothing extra and takes nothing away. They keep the fee, offer and refund rights in their own selected-format checkout and accepted payment terms, and compete on the same terms. Your reward comes from us, not from them; the link does not itself activate a refund offer.

A referrer can see the learner’s first name and a bounded activity stage: signed up, registration form recorded or paid registration recorded. It is not a complete ledger or a reward receipt. The referrer cannot see their email address, date of birth, selected format, score or rank through these tools. Nothing they do in the quiz itself is shown to the referrer.

Keeping it fair and preserving earlier rights

Self-referrals never qualify. Rewards from additional accounts you control, manufactured referrals, fake or duplicate accounts, or payment fraud may be withheld or reversed under the applicable terms. Identity checks are not a claim that every abusive account has been detected.

When the referred participant’s cancellation or refund is completed, the associated referral reward is reversed. A reversal of their payment also reverses that reward. This affects that referral, not unrelated rewards. Payment disputes may require review. Ordinary cancellation does not imply wrongdoing, and a referral adjustment does not remove the learner’s own fee, cancellation or statutory rights.

If Skollar or Kariant cancels Quiz 2026 as the organizer, the referral reward is retained, including when the organizer’s fee-return remedy is completed, but becomes permanently non-cashable and platform-use-only. It stays locked from all use until 17 November 2026, 00:00 IST. After unlock it may be used only where accepted on Skollar or Kariant; it can never be converted to Kash or withdrawn to a bank, even if your own registration payment was verified successful by the deadline. Organizer cancellation does not unlock it early.

Reward amounts or the program may change for future referrals. Rewards already earned keep their applicable rights and receipts, subject to the cancellation, reversal and anti-abuse rules that apply to them. Existing rewards are not retroactively re-counted under the new distinct-user limit.
