Question 1

How do I register for the quiz?

Accepted Answer

Create an account on quiz.skollar.club, choose your format (Skollar Global Quiz 2026, Skollar Global Junior Quiz 2026, Skollar India Quiz 2026, or Skollar India Junior Quiz 2026), fill in your personal and education details, pass the eligibility check, and complete payment. Check your Dashboard for the confirmed registration and payment reference. We also send a confirmation email; delivery can be delayed. If payment was deducted but confirmation is pending, check its status before trying another payment.

Question 2

What is the special 100% refund registration offer?

Accepted Answer

To celebrate the launch of Skollar Setu, Skollar Junior, Skollar Senior and Skollar International, the special 100% refund offer returns for eligible Quiz registrations in all four formats from 14 October 2026, 12:00 AM IST (00:00 IST) to 15 October 2026, 11:59 PM IST (23:59 IST). Check your chosen format’s fee and refund offer before paying. Earlier registrations keep their original benefits; registrations between the earlier offer and this new period do not gain this offer.

Question 3

When is the registration deadline?

Accepted Answer

The new special 100% refund offer runs through 15 October 2026, 11:59 PM IST (23:59 IST); check your chosen format’s offer before paying. Registration closes on 10 November 2026, 11:59 PM IST. Your format may have a different final registration date; check its page for available places and the quiz date. Already registered? Your benefits stay the same. Check your Koins page for your refund amount and status.

Question 4

What are the fee tiers and how do they work?

Accepted Answer

Registration fees can change between Early Bird and Standard periods. Special refund offers may also be available. Choose a format to check its current fee and registration availability before payment. Check the refund offer for your chosen format before paying. Check your fee and offer before paying. Use Razorpay in India or PayPal outside India. Group discounts are not available.

Question 5

Can I register for multiple formats?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can register for any format you are eligible for. For example, an India-based senior-format participant is eligible for both the Skollar India Quiz 2026 and the Skollar Global Quiz 2026; a Grade 11 student in India is eligible for both the Skollar India Junior Quiz 2026 and the Skollar Global Junior Quiz 2026. Each format has its own separate registration, results, and prize pool — and you can pick more than one format in a single registration and pay for them together.

Question 6

Can parents register on behalf of junior participants?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A parent or guardian may assist in filling out the registration form. However, the email address used for registration should be accessible to the participant for quiz-day login. The participant must be the one taking the quiz — proxy attempts are disqualified.

Question 7

Which format is the most affordable?

Accepted Answer

Compare current fees on the individual format pages and confirm your selected formats at checkout. Only select formats for which you meet the eligibility rules. Choose a format to check its current fee and registration availability before payment.

Question 8

Who can participate in the Skollar Quiz 2026?

Accepted Answer

The Skollar Quiz 2026 is open to school students from Class 8 onwards and to undergraduate students to anyone up to age 30. Junior formats (Skollar Global Junior Quiz 2026 & Skollar India Junior Quiz 2026) are for school students in Class 8 to Class 12, including those who have passed Class 12 but not yet started college. Senior formats (Skollar Global Quiz 2026 & Skollar India Quiz 2026) are for undergraduate students to anyone up to age 30 — any degree, working professionals, and the general public. You must provide a valid government-issued ID for prize verification.

Question 9

Who can participate in the Global format?

Accepted Answer

Undergraduate students to anyone up to age 30 — including working professionals and the general public — from any of the 189 countries we serve. You must have a valid government-issued ID for prize verification. No prior quiz experience required.

Question 10

How is the Global format different from the India format?

Accepted Answer

Same 100-MCQ structure and syllabus. The difference is reach and payments: Global is open to all countries, while India is exclusively for India-based participants — your registration country must be India; citizenship is not required, and it includes India-specific current affairs. Currency and payment method follow WHERE YOU ARE, not which format you pick: if you register from India you pay a fixed ₹ fee through Razorpay on either format; from anywhere else you pay in $ through PayPal.

Question 11

Why is there a separate India format?

Accepted Answer

The India format features PPP-adjusted fees (₹ instead of $) to make the competition accessible to Indian students. It also includes India-specific current affairs and constitutional knowledge in the syllabus.

Question 12

What age/grade is eligible for the Junior formats?

Accepted Answer

School students in Class 8 to Class 12, including those who have passed Class 12 but not yet started college. The Skollar Global Junior Quiz 2026 is open to school students from any country; the Skollar India Junior Quiz 2026 is open to Indian school students in Class 8–12 (CBSE, ICSE, State Board, or equivalent). You must provide proof of enrolment (student ID, school letter, or bonafide certificate) if requested during prize verification.

Question 13

Is the Junior difficulty level different from the regular format?

Accepted Answer

The syllabus categories are the same, but questions are calibrated for a Class 8–12 knowledge level. The difficulty is age-appropriate while still being challenging and competitive — school students compete with peers, not college graduates.

Question 14

What documents are required for each region?

Accepted Answer

India formats accept Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, or Voter ID (plus a School Student ID or Bonafide Certificate for Junior formats). Global formats accept Passport, National ID Card, or a government-issued Driver's License (plus a School/University Student ID or Enrolment Letter for Junior formats). ID is only required for prize verification after the quiz — you do not need to upload ID at registration.

Question 15

What is the quiz format and structure?

Accepted Answer

100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) across 10 General Knowledge categories — Geopolitics, Sports, Finance & Economy, Science & Technology, History, Geography, Current Affairs, Arts & Entertainment, Culture & Society, and Business & Entrepreneurship. Each category has exactly 10 questions. You get 2 hours (120 minutes) to complete all 100 questions. Questions are randomly shuffled per participant, each with 4 options (A, B, C, D) and exactly one correct answer. There is absolutely no negative marking — only correct answers earn points.

Question 16

Is there negative marking?

Accepted Answer

No. There is absolutely no negative marking. Only correct answers earn 1 point each. Unanswered or incorrect questions score 0. The maximum possible score is 100/100. Partial credit is not awarded.

Question 17

When exactly is the quiz conducted?

Accepted Answer

The current exam schedule is: Skollar Global Quiz 2026: 14 November 2026, 12:00 PM IST · start by 12:30 PM IST; Skollar Global Junior Quiz 2026: 13 November 2026, 12:00 PM IST · start by 12:30 PM IST; Skollar India Quiz 2026: 12 November 2026, 12:00 PM IST · start by 12:30 PM IST; Skollar India Junior Quiz 2026: 11 November 2026, 12:00 PM IST · start by 12:30 PM IST. Each format has a 2-hour live window. Check the start and end times for your format; formats may share a day. You will receive reminder emails 24 hours and 1 hour before your format begins.

Question 18

How are winners determined and ranked?

Accepted Answer

Participants are ranked by their total score out of 100. If scores are tied, the person who finishes faster ranks higher. Final ranks and cash-prize winners are scheduled to be announced on 15 November 2026, 12:00 PM IST, by email and on Instagram and LinkedIn. Sign in to see your own result and download your certificate when it is ready.

Question 19

How are ties broken?

Accepted Answer

Participants with identical scores are ranked by total time taken — the faster completion wins the higher rank.

Question 20

What language is the quiz available in?

Accepted Answer

Both the free Practice Mode and the live quiz are conducted in English.

Question 21

What anti-cheating measures are in place?

Accepted Answer

The platform implements tab-switching and window-blur detection, copy-paste and right-click prevention, full-screen mode enforcement, and server-side behavioural monitoring of answer patterns and timing. All sessions are logged with timestamps. The first violation triggers a warning; two violations result in automatic disqualification. Disqualified participants forfeit all prizes and certificates. All results undergo automated and manual statistical review before prize distribution.

Question 22

How are disputes resolved?

Accepted Answer

Participants may raise disputes within 48 hours of result publication by emailing quiz@skollar.club with their registration ID and a detailed description of the issue. Disputes are reviewed within 7 business days, and the review panel's decision is final. Prize distribution is held until all active disputes are resolved.

Question 23

How do I appeal a fair-play decision?

Accepted Answer

Email quiz@skollar.club from your registered email address with the subject line "Fair Play Appeal", within the time stated in your decision notice. Include your full name, the format you entered, the date of the quiz, the decision you are appealing, and a clear explanation with any supporting evidence. We will acknowledge your appeal, review it fairly, and tell you the outcome and reasons using your registered contact details.

Question 24

What are the consequences of cheating or violations?

Accepted Answer

Consequences are scaled to the seriousness of the conduct: a formal warning for minor or first-time issues; voiding of affected answers or the entire score; disqualification from a format's rankings and prize consideration; forfeiture of unpaid prizes (or recovery of paid prizes obtained in breach); and suspension or a permanent ban from current and/or future Skollar Quiz competitions in serious or repeated cases. Where conduct involves fraud or unlawful activity, additional steps permitted by law may be taken.

Question 25

Is the prize money real and will I actually get paid?

Accepted Answer

See the Prizes page for the cash prize at each winning rank in every format. We plan to start adding prizes to winners’ Kashflow accounts from 16 November 2026, after results are announced and your prize eligibility and ID are checked. Check your Koins page to see when your prize arrives. Winning or receiving an email does not mean the money has reached your account yet. Cash prizes arrive as Koins in your Kashflow account, and you can see them on your Koins page. From 16 November 2026, 12:00 AM IST, after results are announced and the required checks are complete, you can turn your eligible, unspent prize Koins into Kash (your cash balance), then request a bank transfer. These are two separate steps. Our team reviews each bank request before sending the money. Purchased and promotional Koins cannot be withdrawn. Earlier offers keep their own withdrawal dates and conditions.

Question 26

How much is the total prize pool?

Accepted Answer

$190,000 across the two global formats and ₹1.77 Crore across the two India formats — 2,200 cash winners in all (top 100 ranks paid in each Global format, top 1,000 ranks paid in each India format). Each format pays a fixed amount per rank within each band. Skollar Global Quiz 2026: ranks 1-5 $5,000 each, 6-10 $2,500, 11-100 $1,000. Skollar Global Junior Quiz 2026: 1-5 $2,500, 6-10 $1,000, 11-100 $500. Skollar India Quiz 2026: 1-5 ₹1,00,000 each, 6-10 ₹50,000, 11-100 ₹25,000, 101-1,000 ₹10,000. Skollar India Junior Quiz 2026: 1-5 ₹50,000, 6-10 ₹25,000, 11-100 ₹10,000, 101-1,000 ₹5,000.

Question 27

What currency are prizes paid in?

Accepted Answer

Global-format prizes are listed in US dollars and India-format prizes in rupees.

Question 28

How and when are cash prizes paid?

Accepted Answer

Winners are contacted after results and must upload a valid government-issued ID matching their registration within 7 days. Check your signed-in winner page for verification instructions.

Question 29

What payment methods are accepted?

Accepted Answer

What you pay with depends on where you register from, not on the format. Registering from India — including on a Global format — you pay a fixed ₹ fee through Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets). Registering from anywhere else you pay in $ through PayPal (international cards, PayPal balance). The payment itself happens on your payment partner's own secure page — we never see or store your full card details.

Question 30

Is my payment safe?

Accepted Answer

Your payment is handled by the payment provider over an encrypted connection. Your registration country determines the provider: India uses Razorpay, including for Global formats; outside India uses PayPal. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank login. Use the payment flow opened from your signed-in registration page.

Question 31

Do I get my registration fee back?

Accepted Answer

Check the refund offer for your chosen format before paying. Already registered? Your benefits stay the same. Check your Koins page for your refund amount and status. Refund offers add Koins to your personal Kashflow account, rather than return money to your card or bank. Only the part shown as eligible for cash withdrawal is Money Back Koins; the rest can be spent on the platform. You can only withdraw eligible Koins you have not spent, once their withdrawal date and the required checks are complete.

Question 32

How do I cancel my registration?

Accepted Answer

Sign in to your Dashboard, open your registration and choose Cancel. Check the deadline and refund details shown before confirming. Cancelling frees your place; it does not automatically return money to your card or give you a second refund. See the Fee, Cancellation & Withdrawal Policy for details.

Question 33

Can I ever get an actual cash refund?

Accepted Answer

Only in a few situations that are not your fault: if you were charged twice for the same seat, if money left your account but your registration never completed, or if we cancel or reschedule your format and the new date does not work for you. In those cases our team returns the money to the method you paid with. Email quiz@skollar.club with the email you registered with, the format, and your payment reference. Refund offers are separate Koins benefits, not refunds to the original payment method, and do not apply to every registration. Check your recorded registration terms.

Question 34

What is my Kashflow account?

Accepted Answer

Your Kashflow account is your personal billing account across Kariant and Skollar. Koins from refunds, prizes and referral rewards are credited to it. In India, Koins are called Sikka. Your Koins page shows your Koins history. To withdraw eligible Koins, first turn them into Kash (your cash balance), then request a bank transfer. Purchased and promotional Koins cannot be withdrawn.

Question 35

What are Koins, and can I earn them?

Accepted Answer

Koins are credits you can spend on participating Kariant and Skollar services. In India, they are called Sikka. Eligible registrations can receive refund Koins, and winners can receive prize Koins. Only amounts marked as eligible for cash withdrawal can go to a bank; purchased and promotional Koins cannot. Check the refund offer for your chosen format before paying. When someone you refer completes a verified successful registration payment, you can earn ₹50 in India or $1 elsewhere for that person, in total, subject to eligibility. The amount follows the country recorded in your account; if no country is recorded, the India amount applies. Rewards are limited to the first 10 different people you refer, counting people who sign up without paying. Referral rewards are credited as Koins to your Kashflow account and can be used from 17 November 2026, 00:00 IST. See Refer & Earn for the full rules.

Question 36

How do I prepare for the quiz?

Accepted Answer

Use free Practice Mode at quiz.skollar.club/practice for five-question sets. Choose a category and difficulty from the available question bank; explanations appear where provided. Sign in to use saved progress and category accuracy when available. Guest practice and public sample mode are not saved to your account; the sample may cover broader topics instead of the selected format or weak area. Practice results do not count toward competition scores.

Question 37

Is there a sample paper to practice with?

Accepted Answer

We do not release past papers (each quiz paper is unique and confidential). Free Practice Mode offers short sets from available practice questions and a public sample. Available categories and difficulty levels depend on the question bank. These are preparation materials, not a preview of your competition paper or an unlimited question guarantee.

Question 38

Is the Skollar Quiz 2026 free?

Accepted Answer

Practice mode is free. The competition requires paid registration; a Money Back Koins offer is not a waiver of the checkout fee or a refund to the original payment method. Choose a format to check its current fee and registration availability before payment. Check the refund offer for your chosen format before paying.

Question 39

What technology powers the quiz?

Accepted Answer

Built and run by Kariant Konsulting (the team behind kariant.app). Every question is drafted with web-grounded research for factual accuracy, then put through automated fact-checking, difficulty scoring, and human review before it enters the pool. Grading is automated and server-side with anti-cheat monitoring.

Question 40

What language is supported for practice?

Accepted Answer

Practice and the live quiz are both conducted in English.

Question 41

Do all participants get certificates?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you complete the quiz and meet the eligibility rules. Scores of 90 or more earn a Certificate of Distinction; 75–89 earn a Certificate of Excellence; everyone else who qualifies receives a Certificate of Participation. Download yours from your Dashboard when it is ready. Certificates may take time to appear. Final ranks and cash-prize winners are announced on 15 November 2026.

Question 42

Are certificates verifiable?

Accepted Answer

All certificates include a unique verification ID and are verifiable online at quiz.skollar.club/verify. They are designed to be importable directly to LinkedIn and shareable on resumes and college applications.

Question 43

What happens if my internet disconnects during the quiz?

Accepted Answer

Your progress is auto-saved to our servers every 30 seconds. If you lose connectivity and reconnect within the time window, you can resume from exactly where you left off. If the timer runs out while you are disconnected, all answered questions are submitted automatically.

Question 44

What do I need technically to take the quiz?

Accepted Answer

A stable internet connection and a device with a modern web browser on quiz day. The experience is mobile-optimised. Full-screen mode is enforced during the live quiz, and copy-paste and right-click are disabled.

Question 45

How do I contact support?

Accepted Answer

Email is the primary and fastest channel: quiz@skollar.club — one inbox covering all four formats, monitored daily, with a first reply within 2 business days (and same-day around the quiz window). Support hours are Mon–Sat, 9 AM – 6 PM IST. When you write in, include the email you registered with, the format involved, and your registration/payment reference.

Question 46

Where are results and announcements posted?

Accepted Answer

Sign in to your Dashboard for your registration, result and certificate. Check your Koins page for prize payments. We also send emails and share announcements on Instagram (instagram.com/quiz.skollar.club) and LinkedIn (linkedin.com/company/skollar-quiz-2026). Emails can be delayed, so check your account too. Following us or agreeing to winner publicity is optional and does not affect your prize.

Question 47

How do I raise a formal grievance or data-rights request?

Accepted Answer

For a formal grievance, email quiz@skollar.club and mark your message "Grievance" — it is routed to the person responsible for resolving it rather than back into the general queue. We aim to acknowledge and resolve formal grievances within 24 hours on working days. For privacy/data requests, email quiz@skollar.club with the subject "Data Request" — you can ask for access, correction, or deletion of your data; we may verify your identity first.

Question 48

Who organizes the Skollar Quiz 2026?

Accepted Answer

Skollar (skollar.club) organizes the quiz. Kariant Konsulting, the team behind kariant.app, builds and runs the quiz website, registration and payments.

Question 49

Why are there 4 formats?

Accepted Answer

Four distinct formats serve different age groups and geographies — Skollar Global Quiz (undergrads to age 30, worldwide), Skollar Global Junior Quiz (Class 8–12, worldwide), Skollar India Quiz (undergrads to age 30, India only), and Skollar India Junior Quiz (Class 8–12, India only). Each format has its own scheduled window, results and prize pool; Junior questions are calibrated for the school level. Check the Eligibility and Dates pages before choosing a format.

Question 50

Do participants get anything from Skollar beyond the quiz?

Accepted Answer

Paid registration includes lifetime Skollar Premium membership. Sign in to your Skollar account to use it. If your membership is missing after payment, contact support with your registration reference. Cancelling or reversing the payment may end this membership. Existing benefits for India-based participants who take the quiz remain unchanged. You must complete the quiz to receive a participation certificate; cash prizes depend on your rank and eligibility.
