If you registered in the Early Bird window — by 2 September 2026, 11:59 PM IST, and among the first 1,000 places per format — you got your fee back: your full fee was refunded — credited to your Kashflow account as Koins, shown as Sikka in India — the moment your payment was confirmed. Registrations from 3 September 2026 onwards do not include the fee-back.

What are the fee tiers and how do they work?

There are two registration windows. Early Bird (closed 2 September 2026, 11:59 PM IST) — the fee paid came back to those registrants as Koins in their Kashflow account (shown as Sikka in India) as soon as payment confirmed. Standard (3 September 2026 – 10 October 2026) — no fee-back; the fee pays for your seat. The last date to register across all formats is 10 October 2026. Each format has its own fee, and the currency follows where you register from — ₹ through Razorpay if you are in India (on Global formats too), otherwise $ through PayPal. Fees currently start at $20.00 / ₹499. Group discounts are not available.

Can I register for multiple formats?

Yes! You can register for any format you are eligible for. For example, an India-based senior-format participant is eligible for both the Skollar India Quiz 2026 and the Skollar Global Quiz 2026; a Grade 11 student in India is eligible for both the Skollar India Junior Quiz 2026 and the Skollar Global Junior Quiz 2026. Each format has its own separate registration, results, and prize pool — and you can pick more than one format in a single registration and pay for them together.

Can parents register on behalf of junior participants?

Yes. A parent or guardian may assist in filling out the registration form. However, the email address used for registration should be accessible to the participant for quiz-day login. The participant must be the one taking the quiz — proxy attempts are disqualified.

The Skollar India Junior Quiz 2026 has the lowest registration fee, designed for maximum participation among Indian school students. If you registered by 2 September 2026, 11:59 PM IST (Early Bird), you got a full refund of your fee — credited to your Kashflow account as Koins, shown as Sikka in India.

Who can participate in the Skollar Quiz 2026?

The Skollar Quiz 2026 is open to school students from Class 8 onwards and to undergraduate students to anyone up to age 30. Junior formats (Skollar Global Junior Quiz 2026 & Skollar India Junior Quiz 2026) are for school students in Class 8 to Class 12, including those who have passed Class 12 but not yet started college. Senior formats (Skollar Global Quiz 2026 & Skollar India Quiz 2026) are for undergraduate students to anyone up to age 30 — any degree, working professionals, and the general public. You must provide a valid government-issued ID for prize verification.

How is the Global format different from the India format?

Accepted Answer

Same 100-MCQ structure and syllabus. The difference is reach and payments: Global is open to all countries, while India is exclusively for India-based participants — your registration country must be India; citizenship is not required, and it includes India-specific current affairs. Currency and payment method follow WHERE YOU ARE, not which format you pick: if you register from India you pay a fixed ₹ fee through Razorpay on either format; from anywhere else you pay in $ through PayPal.

Why is there a separate India format?

The India format features PPP-adjusted fees (₹ instead of $) to make the competition accessible to Indian students. It also includes India-specific current affairs and constitutional knowledge in the syllabus.

What age/grade is eligible for the Junior formats?

School students in Class 8 to Class 12, including those who have passed Class 12 but not yet started college. The Skollar Global Junior Quiz 2026 is open to school students from any country; the Skollar India Junior Quiz 2026 is open to Indian school students in Class 8–12 (CBSE, ICSE, State Board, or equivalent). You must provide proof of enrolment (student ID, school letter, or bonafide certificate) if requested during prize verification.

Is the Junior difficulty level different from the regular format?

The syllabus categories are the same, but questions are calibrated for a Class 8–12 knowledge level. The difficulty is age-appropriate while still being challenging and competitive — school students compete with peers, not college graduates.

India formats accept Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, or Voter ID (plus a School Student ID or Bonafide Certificate for Junior formats). Global formats accept Passport, National ID Card, or a government-issued Driver's License (plus a School/University Student ID or Enrolment Letter for Junior formats). ID is only required for prize verification after the quiz — you do not need to upload ID at registration.

What is the quiz format and structure?

100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) across 10 General Knowledge categories — Geopolitics, Sports, Finance & Economy, Science & Technology, History, Geography, Current Affairs, Arts & Entertainment, Culture & Society, and Business & Entrepreneurship. Each category has exactly 10 questions. You get 2 hours (120 minutes) to complete all 100 questions. Questions are randomly shuffled per participant, each with 4 options (A, B, C, D) and exactly one correct answer. There is absolutely no negative marking — only correct answers earn points.

No. There is absolutely no negative marking. Only correct answers earn 1 point each. Unanswered or incorrect questions score 0. The maximum possible score is 100/100. Partial credit is not awarded.

When exactly is the quiz conducted?

The Skollar Quiz 2026 runs one format per day across 11–14 October 2026, each a 2-hour live window opening at 12:00 PM IST (6:30 AM UTC): Skollar India Junior Quiz on 11 October 2026, Skollar India Quiz on 12 October 2026, Skollar Global Junior Quiz on 13 October 2026, and Skollar Global Quiz on 14 October 2026. Plan to start at 12:00 PM IST sharp — your own 120-minute timer runs from the moment you begin your paper and your answers submit automatically when it ends. A grace period on the day accommodates late arrivals, who still get their full 120 minutes. You will receive reminder emails 24 hours and 1 hour before your format begins.

How are winners determined and ranked?

Participants are ranked by their total score (out of 100). In case of a tie, the participant who completed the quiz faster is ranked higher (time is measured from quiz start to final submission, not per question). Your score and certificate are available immediately when you submit; final ranks and cash prize winners are announced collectively on 15 October 2026, 12:00 PM IST, by email and on Instagram and LinkedIn. Your final rank appears privately on your own result page. All scoring is automated and verified server-side.

The platform implements tab-switching and window-blur detection, copy-paste and right-click prevention, full-screen mode enforcement, and server-side behavioural monitoring of answer patterns and timing. All sessions are logged with timestamps. The first violation triggers a warning; two violations result in automatic disqualification. Disqualified participants forfeit all prizes and certificates. All results undergo automated and manual statistical review before prize distribution.

How are disputes resolved?

Participants may raise disputes within 48 hours of result publication by emailing quiz@skollar.club with their registration ID and a detailed description of the issue. Disputes are reviewed within 7 business days, and the review panel's decision is final. Prize distribution is held until all active disputes are resolved.

How do I appeal a fair-play decision?

Email quiz@skollar.club from your registered email address with the subject line "Fair Play Appeal", within the time stated in your decision notice. Include your full name, the format you entered, the date of the quiz, the decision you are appealing, and a clear explanation with any supporting evidence. We will acknowledge your appeal, review it fairly, and tell you the outcome and reasons using your registered contact details.

What are the consequences of cheating or violations?

Consequences are scaled to the seriousness of the conduct: a formal warning for minor or first-time issues; voiding of affected answers or the entire score; disqualification from a format's rankings and prize consideration; forfeiture of unpaid prizes (or recovery of paid prizes obtained in breach); and suspension or a permanent ban from current and/or future Skollar Quiz competitions in serious or repeated cases. Where conduct involves fraud or unlawful activity, additional steps permitted by law may be taken.

Is the prize money real and will I actually get paid?

Yes. After the results are published we verify every winner — you must provide a valid government-issued ID matching your registration — and then the prize money is credited into your Kashflow account, shown as Sikka if you are in India. You can spend it across Skollar and Kariant straight away, and from 15 November 2026, 12:00 AM IST you can also ask us to send it to your bank, once bank withdrawals are open on Kariant. How much is the total prize pool?

$190,000 across the two global formats and ₹1.77 Crore across the two India formats — 2,200 cash winners in all (top 100 ranks paid in each Global format, top 1,000 ranks paid in each India format). Each format pays a fixed amount per rank within each band. Skollar Global Quiz 2026: ranks 1-5 $5,000 each, 6-10 $2,500, 11-100 $1,000. Skollar Global Junior Quiz 2026: 1-5 $2,500, 6-10 $1,000, 11-100 $500. Skollar India Quiz 2026: 1-5 ₹1,00,000 each, 6-10 ₹50,000, 11-100 ₹25,000, 101-1,000 ₹10,000. Skollar India Junior Quiz 2026: 1-5 ₹50,000, 6-10 ₹25,000, 11-100 ₹10,000, 101-1,000 ₹5,000.

What currency are prizes paid in?

Global format prizes are in $ and India format prizes are in ₹. Either way the money is credited into your Kashflow account in the currency of your format, and your balance is shown as Sikka if you are in India. From 15 November 2026, 12:00 AM IST you can ask us to send that balance to your bank, once bank withdrawals are open on Kariant.

How and when are cash prizes paid?

Winners are contacted by email after the results with a secure verification link, and must upload a valid government-issued ID matching their registration within 7 days. Once you are verified, your prize money is credited into your Kashflow account and you will see it on your Kashflow account page. You can spend it across Skollar and Kariant straight away. From 15 November 2026, 12:00 AM IST you can also ask us to send it to your bank, once bank withdrawals are open on Kariant — every request is reviewed and approved by our team first, and how long the money then takes to reach you depends on your bank and the payment route.

What payment methods are accepted?

What you pay with depends on where you register from, not on the format. Registering from India — including on a Global format — you pay a fixed ₹ fee through Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets). Registering from anywhere else you pay in $ through PayPal (international cards, PayPal balance). The payment itself happens on your payment partner's own secure page — we never see or store your full card details.

Is my payment safe?

Your payment is handled entirely by a regulated payment partner over an encrypted connection. India formats use Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets); Global formats use PayPal (international cards, PayPal balance). We never see or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank login.

Do I get my registration fee back?

Only if you registered in the Early Bird window, which closed on 2 September 2026, 11:59 PM IST (capped at the first 1,000 places per format, counted on successful payments). If you did, your full fee was refunded at the same value you paid — credited to your Kashflow account as Koins, shown as Sikka in India, the moment your payment was confirmed. You can spend it anywhere across Skollar and Kariant right away, and from 15 November 2026, 12:00 AM IST you can also ask us to send it to your bank, once bank withdrawals are open on Kariant. You keep it whether or not you compete, and whether or not you win a prize — and if you cancel your registration, you keep it too. Registrations in the Standard window (3 September 2026 – 10 October 2026) do not include the fee-back; that fee pays for your seat. If you later cancel a Standard registration, that fee is not lost either — we move it into your Kashflow account as Koins at the moment you cancel, on the same terms.

How do I cancel my registration?

Log in to your Dashboard at quiz.skollar.club/dashboard and use the "Cancel Registration" button on the format you no longer want. No money goes back to your card — because your fee is already in your Kashflow account as Koins, shown as Sikka in India. If you registered in the Early Bird window it went there the moment your payment confirmed and cancelling does not take it away; if you registered in the Standard window we move it there when you cancel. Either way you can spend it anywhere across Skollar and Kariant right away, and once the competition concludes you can ask us to send it to your bank, from 15 November 2026, 12:00 AM IST, when bank withdrawals are open on Kariant. You can cancel any time up to 10 October 2026, 11:59 PM IST, when registrations close. After that your seat is confirmed and cannot be cancelled — and simply not turning up on quiz day is not a cancellation and returns nothing.

Can I ever get an actual cash refund?

Only in a few situations that are not your fault: if you were charged twice for the same seat, if money left your account but your registration never completed, or if we cancel or reschedule your format and the new date does not work for you. In those cases our team returns the money to the method you paid with. Email quiz@skollar.club with the email you registered with, the format, and your payment reference, and we will sort it out. This is not the normal path — for everyone else, the Early Bird fee-back is how your money comes back to you.

What are Koins, and can I earn them?

Koins are the single currency used across Skollar and Kariant, held in your Kashflow account. If you are in India, the same balance is shown to you as Sikka. Beyond cash prizes you earn +1 Koin (or 50 Sikka in India) for each referred learner who completes a paid registration — for up to your first 10 paid referred registrations; if a rewarded registration is later cancelled, refunded, or lost to a payment dispute, that reward is reversed. On top of that, if you registered by 2 September 2026, 11:59 PM IST (Early Bird), you got a full refund of your registration fee — credited to your Kashflow account as soon as your payment was confirmed. Your fee refund and any prize money can later be withdrawn to a bank; Koins earned for referrals are spendable across Skollar and Kariant rather than withdrawn. Yes. Results day (15 October 2026) announces final ranks and cash prizes only.

Your progress is auto-saved to our servers every 30 seconds. If you lose connectivity and reconnect within the time window, you can resume from exactly where you left off. If the timer runs out while you are disconnected, all answered questions are submitted automatically.

How do I raise a formal grievance or data-rights request?

Each format has its own results and prize pool. Same questions, same clock, same rules — the only differentiator is what you know.
