This policy explains exactly what happens to your registration fee for the Skollar Quiz 2026 if you change your mind, if a payment goes wrong, or if we have to cancel or reschedule the competition. It applies to all four formats — the Skollar Global Quiz 2026, Skollar Global Junior Quiz 2026, Skollar India Quiz 2026, and Skollar India Junior Quiz 2026 — each of which is registered, scored, and rewarded separately.
We have written this to be fair and easy to understand. Where it uses formal terms, those terms have the same meaning as in our Terms of Service. If anything here is unclear, please reach out before you pay — we would much rather answer a question first than have you pay for something you did not want.
01Overview
Your registration fee secures your seat in a specific Skollar Quiz 2026 format. What happens to that fee depends on which registration window you registered in — Early Bird or Standard.
The core rules in one place:
- Early Bird — register by 2 September 2026, 11:59 PM IST, and among the first 1,000 places per format, and your fee comes straight back to you as Koins in your Kashflow account (shown as Sikka if you are in India), as soon as your payment is confirmed. It is credited at the same value you paid. You can spend that balance anywhere across Skollar and Kariant right away, and from 15 November 2026, 12:00 AM IST you can also ask us to send it to your bank, once bank withdrawals are open on Kariant.
- Standard — register during 3 September 2026 – 10 October 2026. Standard registrations do not receive the fee back. The fee pays for your seat.
The Early Bird fee-back does not depend on anything else. You receive it whether or not you end up competing, and whether or not you win a prize. If you cancel your registration you still keep it — cancelling gives up your seat, it does not take your fee-back away.
Cash prizes work the same way: prize money is credited into your Kashflow account and can be withdrawn to your bank from 15 November 2026, 12:00 AM IST, once withdrawals are open.
02The Two Registration Windows
Registration opens in two windows. What separates them is the fee-back, not the fee: the fee shown at checkout is the same in both windows, and Early Bird registrations get that fee credited back as Koins while Standard registrations do not. (Registrations made before the original early cutoff of 15 August 2026 also paid a lower launch fee — those registrants keep everything they were promised; the Early Bird window itself has since been extended to 2 September 2026.) The window you see and pay at checkout is the window your refund rights are based on — it is recorded on your registration receipt. The last date to register, across all formats, is 10 October 2026. Each format has its own prize pool.
- Early Bird window — register by 2 September 2026. This is the window that carries the fee-back, offered as a thank-you to people who commit early: your fee comes back to you as Koins, as described below. Early Bird is limited to the first 1,000 places per format, counted on successful payments, and closes for a format on whichever comes first — that date, or that format's last place. Each format has its own allocation, so one filling up does not affect the others, and the registration page always shows the fee you will actually be charged.
- Standard window — 3 September 2026 – 10 October 2026, at the same fee but without the fee-back. Because seats, monitoring capacity and operational commitments are locked in once the early window closes, Standard registrations do not include the fee-back and the fee is not refundable.
We do not retroactively change your window. If you registered as Early Bird, your fee-back stays with you even after that window has closed for new entrants.
03Early Bird — Your Fee Comes Back as Koins
If you register by 2 September 2026, 11:59 PM IST and within the first 1,000 places per format, the fee you paid is credited back to you as Koins — shown as Sikka if you are in India — in your Kashflow account, at the same value you paid, as soon as your payment is confirmed. There is no form to fill in and nothing to claim: you will see it on your Kashflow account page.
What you can do with it. You can spend that balance across Skollar and Kariant straight away. From 15 November 2026, 12:00 AM IST you can also ask us to send it to your bank, once bank withdrawals are open on Kariant. We will show you clearly on your Kashflow account page whether withdrawals are open yet; until they are, your balance keeps its full spending power across Skollar and Kariant.
It is not conditional. You receive it whether or not you go on to compete, and whether or not you win a prize. If you cancel your registration, you keep it.
Cancelling your registration. You can cancel from your dashboard at any time up to 10 October 2026, 11:59 PM IST, when registrations close. Cancelling releases your seat for that format. It does not return money to your card — your fee is already back with you as Koins — and it does not remove those Koins. (Standard registrations work out the same way: there is no fee-back to keep, so the fee you paid is credited to your Kashflow account as Koins when you cancel.) Once you have opened your question paper, that entry has been used and the registration can no longer be cancelled, even if you do not finish. One thing cancelling does end: the lifetime Skollar Premium membership included with a paid registration lapses when you cancel, unless another confirmed registration of yours still carries it. Your Koins are unaffected.
If you want to take part after cancelling, you can register again while seats are still open, at whatever fee applies at that time.
04Your Kashflow Account: Koins, Sikka and Kash
What a Kashflow account is. Your Kashflow account is your unified billing account — one account you use across Skollar, Kariant, and the other products and platforms Kariant operates. Everything you pay for, everything you are credited, and everything you earn sits in this one place. A Kashflow account is created for you automatically when you sign up, and you can see it any time on your Kashflow account page.
Koins and Sikka. Your balance is shown in the unit that fits where you are:
- In India — your balance is shown in Sikka. Each 1 Sikka is worth ₹1.
- Anywhere else — your balance is shown in Koins. Each 1 Koin is worth $1.
It is one balance either way, simply labelled in your own currency. Koins and Sikka are Kariant's unified currency and loyalty system: you can buy them, you can spend them on products and services across Skollar and Kariant, and you can receive them as rewards — such as the Early Bird fee-back and quiz prize money.
Kash — the part you can take to your bank. Within your Kashflow account, Kash is the portion of your total Koins or Sikka that is redeemable to your bank as real money. Not every balance is redeemable — Koins you bought to spend on the platform are for spending — but the fee-back and prize money credited to you by the Skollar Quiz 2026 are.
When you can withdraw. From 15 November 2026, 12:00 AM IST, your available Koins or Sikka are shown inside Kash as available — that is the point from which you can place a withdrawal request. This covers both the Early Bird fee-back and any cash prize credited to you.
What actually gets transferred. You withdraw whatever is still left at the time you ask — it is based on your usage. If you have already spent part of the balance across Skollar or Kariant, you withdraw the remainder, not the original amount. Spend none of it and you can withdraw all of it.
Withdrawal also depends on bank withdrawals being open on Kariant, and we show you clearly on your Kashflow account page whether they are. Requests are reviewed and approved by our team before payment is sent; how long it then takes to reach you depends on your bank and the payment route used.
05Standard — No Fee-Back
Registrations made during the Standard window (3 September 2026 – 10 October 2026) do not receive the fee back as Koins, and the fee is not refundable. By the time the early window closes we have committed operational resources — question delivery, monitoring capacity and scheduling — and those costs cannot be recovered. If you want your fee returned to you, register by 2 September 2026, 11:59 PM IST in the Early Bird window (limited to the first 1,000 places per format).
You can still cancel a Standard registration from your dashboard to release your seat — and if you do, the fee you paid is not lost. We credit it to your Kashflow account as Koins at the moment you cancel, at the same value you paid. It is spendable across Skollar and Kariant immediately, and once the competition concludes you can ask us to send it to your bank, from 15 November 2026, 12:00 AM IST, when withdrawals are open on Kariant. What Standard registrations do not include is the Early Bird fee-back — that arrives the moment you pay, so you hold it while you compete. Cancel a Standard registration and you get the same value, just later.
The only exceptions are the situations covered elsewhere in this policy that are not your fault, specifically:
- a duplicate or failed-but-charged payment (see Payment Failures & Duplicate Charges); and
- cancellation or rescheduling by the organizer (see Cancellation by Participant vs. by Organizer), which returns your full fee as Koins in your Kashflow account regardless of the window you registered in.
We clearly label the Standard window at checkout, and say plainly that it carries no fee-back, so you can make an informed choice before paying.
06How to Cancel, and When You Can Withdraw
Cancelling takes a minute, straight from your dashboard:
- Log in to your dashboard and use the Cancel Registration button on the format you no longer want. That releases your seat. Your fee stays with you as Koins either way — Early Bird fee-back Koins remain in your account, and a Standard fee is credited to your Kashflow account as you cancel.
- If you have any trouble, email quiz@skollar.club (or use our contact page) with the email used to register, the format, and your payment reference or order ID.
The cut-off. You can cancel any time up to 10 October 2026, 11:59 PM IST. Once you have opened your question paper, that entry has been used and cannot be cancelled — even if you do not finish. The quizzes run on 11–14 October 2026, one format per day.
Withdrawing your balance to a bank. From 15 November 2026, 12:00 AM IST you can request that your Kashflow balance be sent to your bank account, once bank withdrawals are open on Kariant. Withdrawal requests are reviewed and approved by our team before payment is sent, and the time it then takes to reach you depends on your bank and the payment route used. Your Kashflow account page always shows the current status, including whether withdrawals are open yet.
07Cancellation by Participant vs. by Organizer
If you cancel. Cancelling releases your seat for that format. It does not return money to your card, and it does not remove any fee-back Koins you were credited — Early Bird registrants keep those. Standard registrations have no fee-back to keep, so the fee you paid is credited to your Kashflow account as Koins at the moment you cancel. You can cancel any time before you open your question paper. Cancelling does not by itself remove you from communications about the event unless you ask us to.
If we cancel or reschedule. If the organizer cancels the Skollar Quiz 2026, or a specific format, you get your full registration fee back — regardless of which registration window you registered in, including the Standard window. It comes back the same way everything else on this page does: credited to your Kashflow account as Koins (shown as Sikka in India), at the value you paid. You can spend it across Skollar and Kariant straight away, and from 15 November 2026, 12:00 AM IST you can withdraw whatever is left of it to your bank, once withdrawals are open. If you already had a fee-back for that registration, you are not credited twice for the same fee.
If the organizer reschedules a quiz (for example, moves the date), you may choose either to:
- keep your registration for the new date at no extra cost; or
- ask for your full registration fee back if the new date does not work for you — it comes back the same way as an organizer cancellation: credited to your Kashflow account as Koins (shown as Sikka in India) at the value you paid, never to your card.
In an organizer-initiated cancellation or reschedule, we will notify registered participants by email and process eligible refunds proactively where we can.
08If We Decline or Reject Your Registration
We check eligibility on the registration form and again before taking payment, so an entry you are not eligible for should normally be stopped before you are charged. Occasionally one still gets through — for example, an age or class requirement that only comes to light later. Here is exactly where you stand if we decline or reject a registration you have already paid for:
- A good-faith mistake. If you registered honestly and it turns out you were not eligible for that format, you are not left out of pocket. The fee for the rejected registration comes back to you the same way everything else on this page does — credited to your Kashflow account as Koins (shown as Sikka in India) at the value you paid — whichever window you registered in, Early Bird or Standard. If you registered in the Early Bird window, your fee is already back with you as the fee-back and you keep it; you are not credited twice for the same fee.
- A deliberate misrepresentation. If a registration was obtained by knowingly misstating eligibility — a false age or class, or someone else's identity — it is handled under our Fair Play & Anti-Cheat Policy instead: the fee may be retained and a fee-back credited for it may be reversed.
If you believe we rejected your registration in error, you can dispute the decision through the Disputes & Appeals process in the Fair Play & Anti-Cheat Policy, via our contact page or quiz@skollar.club.
09Payment Failures & Duplicate Charges
Sometimes a payment is charged but the registration does not complete, or you are accidentally charged more than once. These are not refusals of service — they are errors, and we fix them. This is the one situation where real money goes back to the way you paid, rather than coming to you as Koins.
- Charged but not registered. If money left your account but you did not receive a registration confirmation, contact us with the payment reference. We will check it and either complete your registration or return the charge in full.
- Duplicate or wrong charge. If you were charged more than once for the same registration, or charged in error, the extra charge is returned in full, in the currency you paid in and to the method you paid with. This is not affected by the registration-window rules — you should never pay twice for one seat.
- Pending or declined payments. A payment that was declined or never went through is not a charge to you and there is nothing to return. If a temporary hold shows on your statement, your bank releases it on its own — we do not hold it and we cannot speed it up.
Everything else on this page — the Early Bird fee-back, a Standard fee credited when you cancel, prize money, and a fee returned because we cancelled — comes to you as Koins in your Kashflow account, not back to your card.
10Currency & Payment Method
How you pay. The currency and the payment options you see at checkout depend on your format and where you are:
- Global formats (Skollar Global Quiz 2026 and Skollar Global Junior Quiz 2026) are paid in US dollars ($) via PayPal. If you are in India, you pay a fixed fee in rupees (₹) instead.
- India formats (Skollar India Quiz 2026 and Skollar India Junior Quiz 2026) are paid in rupees (₹), through Razorpay — which covers UPI, cards, net banking and wallets.
How money comes back to you. The Early Bird fee-back, prize money, and a fee returned because we cancelled all arrive as Koins in your Kashflow account — shown as Sikka if you are in India, where 1 Sikka is worth ₹1, and as Koins elsewhere, where 1 Koin is worth $1. They are credited at the value you paid or won, so nothing is lost in the middle.
In the rare case of a genuine money refund — a duplicate or mistaken charge — it goes back in the same currency and to the same method you used to pay. We cannot send it to a different card, account or currency, because that adds conversion risk and fraud risk for both of us.
We do not store your full card details — your payment is handled by the payment company, and anything returned that way is routed back through them. Conversion differences, foreign-transaction fees, or exchange-rate movements applied by your bank or card network are outside our control and are not reimbursable by us.
What you pay. The fee you see at checkout is the full amount you pay — nothing is added on top of it. If that ever changes, it will be reflected in the fee shown at checkout before you pay; it will never be added to a fee you have already paid.
11Cash Prizes: How and When You Are Paid
Prizes and registration fees are completely separate. Winning a cash prize does not change what happens to your fee, and your fee-back does not affect anyone's prize. Money returned to participants never comes out of the prize pool.
- Results are announced collectively on 15 October 2026, 12:00 PM IST.
- Cash prizes are credited from 16 October 2026 — crediting starts at 12:00 AM IST, the day after results are published — into your Kashflow account as Koins, shown as Sikka if you are in India. Your prize is credited once your government-issued photo ID is verified: winners upload it at quiz.skollar.club/verify-id and our team checks it against the details declared at registration. The full verification terms are in the Fair Play & Anti-Cheat Policy.
- Spend it straight away. Prize money works exactly like the Early Bird fee-back: you can use it across Skollar and Kariant as soon as it lands.
- Take it to your bank from 15 November 2026, 12:00 AM IST. From that date your available balance is shown inside Kash as available and you can place a withdrawal request, once bank withdrawals are open on Kariant. You withdraw whatever is still left — if you have already spent part of it, you withdraw the remainder. Requests are reviewed and approved by our team before payment is sent, and how long it then takes to reach you depends on your bank and the payment route.
- Every participant who completes a quiz receives a digital certificate, issued instantly on submission, whatever their placing. Certificates carry no separate fee, so there is nothing to return on them.
A prize is a reward for how you did. It is not a return of your fee. So you cannot ask for the fee for an entry a second time on top of the fee-back you were already credited for it.
12No-Show Policy
If you register but do not turn up, or do not start the quiz on your format's scheduled day — the quizzes run on 11–14 October 2026 (one format per day) — here is exactly where you stand:
- Early Bird (registered by 2 September 2026): nothing changes. Your fee-back Koins were credited when your payment was confirmed, they are yours to keep, and not sitting the quiz does not take them away. There is nothing you need to claim.
- Standard (registered during 3 September 2026 – 10 October 2026): your fee paid for your seat, and that seat was held for you. Not turning up brings nothing back. A Standard fee returns to you as Koins only if you cancel, and only inside the cancellation window below — simply being absent on the day is not a cancellation and is not refundable in any form.
- Either window: if you know in advance you cannot sit the quiz, cancel from your dashboard before registrations close on 10 October 2026, 11:59 PM IST. That frees your seat for someone else and, for a Standard registration, is the only way the fee comes back to you. Once that deadline passes your seat is confirmed and can no longer be cancelled — including on quiz day itself.
If you miss the quiz because of a genuine emergency, or because something went wrong on our side, contact us — we look at those cases one by one and in good faith. Problems caused by the organizer are handled under organizer cancellation or rescheduling, where the fee comes back to you as Koins.
13Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, please contact us first at quiz@skollar.club. We will almost always resolve a genuine issue faster than a bank dispute can, and we want the chance to make it right.
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card network instead of contacting us can have consequences:
- The disputed registration may be suspended or cancelled while the dispute is open, which can affect your seat or your eligibility for that format.
- If a chargeback is filed after we have already put the same money back, we may dispute the second recovery with evidence, so that the same payment is not returned twice.
- A chargeback that is later found to be unwarranted may cost the account its Early Bird fee-back on that payment. The fee-back is credited on the basis that the original payment stands — if the payment is pulled back, the Koins credited for it can be reversed.
None of this is meant to discourage you from raising a real problem — it is meant to make sure honest participants are protected and that disputes are resolved fairly for everyone.
14Your Consumer Rights & Jurisdiction
This policy is intended to be fair and to operate alongside, not instead of, your legal rights. The Skollar Quiz 2026 is organized from India and governed by the laws of India, with the competent courts in India having jurisdiction; we welcome international participants and apply this policy consistently to all of them.
We aim to align with applicable consumer-protection law, including fair dealing and transparent terms. Where any mandatory consumer-protection law that applies to you gives you stronger rights than this policy, those rights are not reduced by anything written here.
Two things we want to be plain about, because they are promises about the future and we will not overstate them. First, taking your balance out to a bank depends on bank withdrawals being open on Kariant — we say from 15 November 2026, 12:00 AM IST, once withdrawals are open, and we show the current status on your Kashflow account page rather than promising a payout date we do not control. Second, what you can withdraw is whatever is left of the balance at that time — spending it across Skollar and Kariant reduces what there is to withdraw, and that is your choice to make.
Personal data handled in connection with a payment, a cancellation or a withdrawal request is processed in line with our privacy practices and our stated aim to align with applicable data-protection and information-technology law, as may be in force and amended from time to time. We do not claim any formal certification.
